It will soon be possible to go dinosaur hunting with the mobile game Jurassic World Alive

The film Jurassic World 2 will soon make its return to the cinema (June 22 for the US release). As good news never comes alone, the Jurassic World Alive app will be released along with the movie and will allow you to hunt dinosaurs the Pokémon Go way.

The latest game based on the Pokémon world was a huge success. Indeed, the app was the first to launch a kind of augmented reality based on your phone’s GPS system. This totally new concept quickly became all the rage and the game became one of the biggest success of the mobile video game.

Inspired by such success, the Jurassic Park license will also release its own game inspired by the same concept. This game will allow you to hunt dinosaurs using your smartphone’s GPS system.

In this game, you will play as a new recruit charged with saving species of dinnausores from extinction. You will be helped in your mission by a drone, but also an assistant. It will be possible to create your own dinosaur species thanks to the DNA you will collect during your missions.

This game is of course part of the huge marketing operation for the release of the movie Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom next June 22nd
